Tightening the nut pulls the wedge cone upward, expanding the sleeve against concrete hole wall.<br \/>\nHole quality is critical. Dust and debris must be fully cleaned. Improper hole depth or incomplete cleaning will significantly reduce ultimate pull-out load.
